The Last Ever ARC contest... probably (UK only)

Happy Friday! I've decided to give away my last ARC of ENTANGLED. The finished book avec gorgeous cover should be ready soon, so I figured the pink loveliness that is the ARC should go to a good home. I'm not saying it will be easy to part with  - we've been through a lot together.

The ARC is very easy to care for, requires minimal watering (no watering at all, actually). All it asks is that you read it once or more and tell all your friends about it.

To enter the contest:

1. You must live in the UK. (Sorry, international peeps!)
2. You have to be a follower of this here blog.
3. Please complete the following sentence...

I would be the ideal ENTANGLED ARC owner because...

Closing date is Friday 12th November. Good luck!

  1. I'm not entering the competition because I am already the owner of a lovely pink ARC (thanks Cat and Roquefort). I care for it and in return it gives me reading pleasure. I'm happy to say it's a fabulous ARC, me and it are best buddies. G'on enter, you know you want one too. :-)

  2. I would be the ideal Entangled ARC owner because, I recently moved into my very first flat, living on my own. My landlord said I could adopt a cat, and I went to the cats home to find one. I fell in love with a cat who only has about a year to live, and wanted to bring him home and cuddle him and make him happy. When I told my landlord, he changed his mind and wouldn't let me adopt him, and I am cuddle-less. I would look after Entangled, and love it and cuddle it, and read it, and give it the loving home it deserves. (I also promise not to water it.)

  3. I really, really want to read it and when I've finished I can tell 1750 teenagers that they need to read it to!

  4. I would be the IDEAL Entangled ARC owner because I have lts of other books so it would never be lonely and my husband says I seem to be building a house of books so it would be contributing to this as well. Also, I really need it.

  5. I would be the ideal entangled ARC owner because it would have a lovely home in the Overfowing Library between Cassandra Clare's The Clockwork Angel and Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games - they could big up each other in how awesome they all are!

  6. I would be the ideal Entangled owner as Grace and I have a lot in common...I often wake up and wonder where I am (only difference is when I realize, I want to go back to sleep!!)...then I love pouring over my precious books and reviewing them for all to read :)

Seriously though, I'd love it if by some miracle Entangled found a home on my bookshelf :) I am a gfc follower, and also take part in the Story Siren's 2010 Debut Challenge, and will be taking part in 2011 also. I've found so many great debut authors this way and those I've found I enjoyed are on my permanent author list :)

  7. I would be the ideal ENTANGLED ARC owner because I'm very good at looking after things that don't need watering (just ask my cacti!). I also have nice shiny new bookcases ready for when I move that are just waiting to be filled with pretty pink books :o)

  8. I'm a follower. My GFC name is Cherry.

I would be the ideal ENTANGLED ARC owner because... I don't water my books :) I read them! ...and, I can give this ARC a good home in my nice shelf!

  9. I would be the ideal Entangled Arc holder because I'm UK book blogger who hasn't even been able to review an actual, proper author-given ARC before (although, I have recieved them through my other review work) (and I was offered one from an author once, but it went wrong. I'm thinking this probably isn't the best time to mention this. Forget I did =]). Yeah, my reason was kind of awful. I must try harder not to ramble. Oops. Anyway, Entangled looks fab, best wishes with it!

  10. I would be the ideal Entangled ARC because .. (AHHH! The pressure to come up with a good answer) I really want to read it. Yes, that's a lame answer, but I really am dying to read it. I've read so many positive reviews that really intrigue me - they write about your writing style and your main character and how is it even possible to have a more beautiful cover than yours? But what really really grabs me is that I've heard there's mention of self harm in your book. Self harm is one of those things that is really, really close to my heart and it's not something that I've seen written very much of (or well) within YA and it excites me that there's the promise of a book which is. So that's why I hope that you pick me. Thanks.

  11. Because I'm a new book blogger, a new follower and I'm also "Team Katniss"!

I just found you whilst surfing the blog members of UKBook Tours as I just joined. Nice to meat you!

  12. I would be the ideal Entangled ARC owner because I'm currently banned from buying any more book-friends until my applications are all in, and as a result Entangled would be showered with the sum of my bookish love for at least two months!
