Pardon my French (and my Czech)

A bit of bookish new for you this fine evening. French rights to ENTANGLED have been sold to Editions Robert Laffont and Czech rights have been sold to Nava. I'm pretty excited to see my book in languages I can't understand very well (French) or at all (Czech).

In other news, top sekrit project is driving me to distraction. Writing it is like wading through waist-deep treacle at the moment. Sticky.

In other OTHER news (which isn't strictly news, more a recommendation), you should probably go and read this post by my wonderful friend, Nova Ren Suma. It's very interesting. Now shoo!

Thanks Nova! I'll meet you at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I'll be the one holding a French edition of ENTANGLED and jumping up and down like une idiot (see? Told you I was good at French!).

I'll ask my parents (who have a bookshop) to promote the French Entangled :D And I'll grab some copies to read how it's translated, I am soooo happy for you!!

(Sadly, I can't help with the Czech :D)

  10. Vivienne - Thank you! Alas, no idea what French for Entangled is. Will have to ask Caroline!

Caroline - THANKS! I'll be interested to find out what the translation is like, and it's probably easier for you to read it than for me to learn French in a short space of time!

Thanks Jo! I love seeing covers of foreign editions!

  12. Hehe that must be fun to see. Not being able to read your own writing and yet knowing what's on the page... WEIRD, but cool. :)

Syki- I'm so pleased to have a real Czech person visit my blog! You'll have to let me know what the translation is like!

Isabel- I hadn't really thought about it like that before. You're right - weird but cool.
