Three months

A lot has happened in the last three months.

I got my first look at the cover for Entangled.

I received a batch of shiny, pink ARCs. My book in book form, at long last.

A couple of authors I really admire read and liked my book.

I got promoted at work.

I handed in my notice at work.

I met John Green, and had a grand day out with a bunch of lovely bloggers.

I started planning my new not-so-top-secret business venture.

My best friend had a baby.

My nephew started school, looking ridiculously cute in his uniform.

I left London.

My ARCs were sent out into the wild, and I got my first bit of feedback from one of the lovely bloggers. She liked my book.

Three months. My mother died three months ago today. I miss her.

  1. Just goes to show how much can happen in the space of 3 small months. You've had quite a lot of change and upheaval and loss in that time, Cat. It's been 7 years since my Dad died and I don't think I'll ever stop missing him.

Best of luck in your new home and your new venture. Can't wait to see what you do in the coming 3 months.

  2. That is A LOT of things to have happened in three months!! I'm excited about your book and your new life up in Scotland although we'll miss you here in England!! Kath is right what she says about her dad. My grandma died in 2005 and I still miss her, time is not a healer as such, it just makes things easier to live with *hug*.

Starting your tour this week :)

  3. Your mum would be so proud of everything you've achieved, and of your courage in starting a whole new venture. So glad she knew about your bookand sad she's not there to share your success with you.

  6. I can imagine how you're feeling today. I just want to say that I genuinely admire you for being so brave and making changes in your life at such a difficult time. I think Keren's exactly right - your mum would be hugely proud of you right now.

  7. Wow, sounds like you've had an epic three months. I'm really sorry for your mother...I sort of know how you feel. My nana passed away five years ago-- the weekend before I started my freshman year of college. Deaths can be tough to take.

But seriously, you've got a lot to be excited about! Might as well bask in that for a while. :)

  10. Three months in an incredible life. I can only imagine your mother would of been 'so proud' of you for what you've accomplished.

Place your hand upon your heart, she's there always - listening. (Hugs)Indigo
